Ryan Marchand
(Fight Choreographer)
Ryan Marchand is a recent graduate of SF State, where he completed his degree in French with a minor in theatre. His interest in fighting and bloodshed first began at the age of 7 when he enrolled in Stuntman Bill Ryusaki's school of Hawaiian Kenpo karate, which he studied for nine years, often competing as a representative. SF State gave Ryan the chance to develop stage combat skills through training such as the suzuki method, taught by Yukihiro Goto. In Addition Ryan had the chance to fulfill the role of fight captain for productions such as Flloyd Collins and City of Angels and was priveleged with the title choreographer for the mainstage Chess and since has choreographed for the Nueva School and their production of OKlahoma.
